I know this topic has probably been asked and answered serval times on here but I can’t seem to pin point it! So, I just installed Inventor and tried to 201 and assembly model I created in On opening I get the unresolved content center parts How do I autodesk inventor 2017 content center libraries free inventor to look at the new content center library?
The project is directed to the library Go to Solution. Solved autodesk inventor 2017 content center libraries free Mark. Start a new assembly and see if librarkes can insert them I also restarted my inventor Unfortunately I’ve uninstalled completely from my machine! I have no access to them at all. They are all shandard sheet metal parts, no custom ones at all. I guess the only way to do this is to go through them one by one to resolve them.
Is there no way of automatically doing this to save time? I’m assuming the files nales are the same sa they would have been in ?
I’ve started to manually go through and resolve the links, should take too long. You could do a replace all component When you open a legacy assembly in a newer version of Inventor, its looking for the content center component in the location that you have defined. It does not automatically go back into content center library and get the missing files for you. Thus the un-resolved location for content center components. So did autodesk inventor 2017 content center libraries free actually remove your autodesk inventor 2017 content center libraries free CC parts from the defined location or did you invenror the actual content center libraries?
If you left the placed content center files, just use Windows Explorer and copy them over to the location you have. Then open your legacy assembly cotnent they will resolve correctly. As a reference you may want to also review this document to undersand how content center works with your assembly.
Update: Also zutodesk you’re resolving the links you’re only resolving it for this instance and not actually resolving the issue. The next time you open the assembly, guess what? The content center components are unresolved again. Mark Lancaster. Did this resolve your issue? Please accept it “As a Solution” so others may benefit from it. Unfortunately, I did delete everything to do with Inventor including the content files and local folder I know not to do this now!
From the documentation you mentioned am I right in understanding that the refresh button on the content center ribbon will look through my current assembly and look at all unresolved content center parts, check the local folder autodesk inventor 2017 content center libraries free matches, if not found it will pull from the main content center library?
No the refresh standard button is only used when there’s been an update to the content center family table and you need to update those components in an assembly.
It will not resolve any un-resolved content autodesk inventor 2017 content center libraries free components. If you deleted everything related to Inventorthen cojtent need to open from content center each part that is missing from your assembly. Its all manual work. Thanks autodesk inventor 2017 content center libraries free windows 10 build numbers and versions free update.
Totally understand where you’re coming from now. I’ve learn’t quite a lot about the content center now and how it functions. Might be a nice feature in the future for Inventor to be able to check assemblies to unresolve content читать далее parts.
